Universal Studios Japan is bringing back the VR jet coaster where guests experience fierce battle with all

five senses, the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride - Mugen Train Dream Riders” which scored a

whopping 99% satisfaction rate with guests for a limited time from Thursday February 1

to Sunday June 9

2024.

The popular attraction which debuted in 2021 recreated the world of the animated film of the Demon Slayer

series, “Kimatsu no Yaiba Mugen Train”, which was released worldwide.

The attraction recreates the fierce emotional battles of “Mugen Train”, fully immersing guests in an

awesome experience of the speed and gravity of the train’s movement and 360 degree views of the story’s

world made possible with state-of-the-art VR techonology. Leap into the middle of “Tanjiro Kamado” and

“Rengoku” battling demons in this Super Realistic Super Popular ride and feel Rengoku’s burning passion as

you listen to his soul stirring words in the heat of battle.

The “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride” is a

unique attraction featuring an original storyline that

propels guests into the real-life world of “Demon

Slayer” utilizing VR technology to produce a ultra-real

360 degree world of “Demon Slayer” along with the

speed and inertia of a jet roller coaster.

Guests board the “Mugen Train” become one of the

highest “Hashira” of the Demon Slayer Corps along

with “Tanjiro”, “Zenitsu”, and “Inosuke Hashibira”. They

meet the “Fire Hashira”, “Rengoku”, and speed towards

the goal while battling demons along the way. “Tanjiro”

Set in the west at the Namihana Station; Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu receive word of a train on which those who

board it are disappearing one after another.

◆Demon Slayer×Universal Studios Japan Collaboration Restaurant

Not only is the “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba XR Ride” returning, 2 restaurants will return featuring

collaborations letting you immerse yourself even more into the world of “Kimetsu no Yaiba”. “Fuji no Hana

no Shokujidokoro” will have menu items based on eight “Hashira”, and the “Studio Stars Restaurant” will

feature a “Rengoku” menu. All nine “Hashira” menu items will be on-hand at the park. Enjoy a meal developed

by the team at Universal Studios Japan who strive for the best in “culinary entertainment” based on the theme

of “Kimetsu no Yaiba”, only available at the park.

Meet the highest ranking of the Demon Slayer Corps, “Hashira” at the collaborative restaurant, “Fuji no

Hana no Shokujidokoro” located at the restaurant “Saido” in the New York area. This “shokujidokoro” [eatery]

which prominently displays the house seal of Fuji no Hana and eerily beautiful wisteria flowers. Enjoy original

food and drinks all based on each of the “Hashira” with attention to the smallest detail. Within the restaurant

guests will find the “cronoids”

of “Giyu Tomioka” and “Shinobu Kochō” created using the latest in human

reconstructive technology with lifelike skin, eyes, and features, have returned. Guests are even invited to take

photos with the “Water Hashira”, “Tomioka”, and “Insect Hashira”, “Kochō”. (Only available for those ordering

certain menu items. Photo pack with original folder also available seperately for purchase.)

Based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge published by Shueisha Jump Comics. The series spanned 23 volumes

with a cumulative total sale of 150 million copies. The animated version was produced by ufotable.

The story follows the teenage Tanjiro Kamado who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family was slaughtered and

younger sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon. The anime series was broadcast from April 2019 as “TV Anime ‘Kimetsu no

Yaiba’ Tanjiro Kamado Unwavering Resolve Arc”, with the release of the film, “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The

Movie: Mugen Train”, in October of 2020. The series went on to release “TV Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ – Mugen Train” and

“TV Anime ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Entertainment District Arc” in 2021 and 2022, and in February of 2023 released the film

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba World Tour – To The Swordsmith Village” with the animated television series being

released starting in April of 2023.

Broadcast of the latest in the TV anime series featuring Tanjiro and friends’ new journey as “Hashira”, the “Hashira Training

Arc” has been announced.
